Bearing balls made of silicon nitride are used to replace conventional metallic bearing balls in severe conditions.

Ceramic bearing balls are extremely corrosion and abrasion resistant, and are not affected even if occasionally run completely dry or marginally lubricated. This guarantees accurate operation even under extreme wear conditions.
