Material Magnesium oxide
Magnesium oxide has a very high melting-point (2800 C), and excellent chemical and corrosion resistance.

These properties make the material ideal where both refractoriness, and chemical resistance are required.
Therefore, it is typically used for melting of metals and sintering of electronic ceramics.
