Aluminium titanate has an excellent heat insulation and thermal shock resistance.
Due to these properties it is highly suitable for lining hot engine parts (exhaust ports, pistons etc.). Aluminium titanate is also used for conveying and metering equipment in non-ferrous metal foundries. |
