The Oil Point Method (OPM) is an easy-to-use method for environmental evaluation in the early stages of product design. Using the OPM gives a rough indication of how large the environmental implications are and where in the life cycle these implications occur. Although results are only indications, they are quantitative and can thus be used for rough comparisons of alternatives. |
