TIG welding is used for high quality welds with good surface finish, mainly on metals like stainless steel, aluminium, titanium and magnesium.
In TIG welding, the arc is generated by a non-consumable tungsten electrode, and filler materials is externally supplied. TIG welding is easier to control than MIG, but has a higher cost. |
