Process Dyeing
Dyeing is a process used to colour textiles. The process varies considerably depending on the type of dye, type of fabric, and requirements.

All dyeing processes involve three steps:
1) Activation of the fabric (to make it receptive to the colouring agents);
2) Colouring;
3) Fixation.

After the dye is set by ageing or heating, the fabric may be washed again and dried and/or heat cured.
