Products Window pane, aerogel (USA)
This window pane is made from a 1-cm thick aerogel slab sandwiched between two standard glass plates.

Aerogels can be a very good thermal insulator, giving high energy savings.

In spite of its high porosity, the aerogel pane is almost trasparent. Only a slight whitish haze prevents it to be fully transparent.
