In the flat loudspeaker the sound is generated by a flat surface. The surface is powered through small so-called exciters placed at the edge of the surface.
The sound distribution in space is better compared to conventional conical loudspeakers. The loudspeakers are best suited for frequencies higher than 600 Hz. Lower frequencies can be generated by a single subwoofer. |
