Loudspeakers using this material are characterised by a more uniform sound distribution and very little directionality. Transparent loudspeakers can be made using diaphragms of glas or plastic and exiters placed at the edge.
The sound is produced using a different principle than the one used in conventional loudspeakers with a pistonic moving diafragm. Instead the diaphragm moves in a random manner. |
