Process	Stick welding
	Welding is done using a fluxcoated electrode ("the stick") that is mounted in a handheld device. The electrode is consumed while welding. The equipment is very simple, relatively inexpensive and easy to transport. It is well suited for more heavy welding tasks like shipbuilding and repair of farming equipment, but less suited for more delicate welding tasks.
